Despite the economic fears post brexit it seems no one has really taken it too seriously as salaries are on the up.
This report by the guys over at CV library gives a run down of which job sectors have the highest salary % increase. It surprises me that retail has the highest growth. I thought retail was supposed to be dead?!

Salaries in the UK rose by 3% in July compared to the previous year, indicating that businesses across the country are pushing hard to attract top talent. This is according to the latest data from the independent job site, CV-Library. According to the data, key areas for salary growth were seen in the retail, legal and finance sectors, where salaries increased by 8%, 7.2% and 6.9% respectively. In terms of regional growth, Cities in the North witnessed the highest increase in salaries, including Leeds (9.3%), Sheffield (7.5%) and Manchester (5.1%).
