Having recently attended the In-House Recruitment conference, The Manchester Conversation, I felt this article perfectly summed up the issues that recruiters are facing.
After numerous conversations with people at the conference, I was very surprised to hear that some big household names struggle with their employer brand, and many of them are not totally convinced by the use of social media which I personally find unfathomable in 2016.
Kate Smedley certainly hits the nail on the head with most of the article especially employer brand and the application process. I think if more employers took 1 or 2 of these suggestions away with them it would certainly improve things for them and their candidates.
