Here is an article about another hot topic in the recruitment world ... work-life balance. Whilst we all strive for the Goldilocks scenario it's not always possible. Working life in 2016 is busy and it does sometimes feels like you have very little time to enjoy your "life" time.
I work in sales and I would say my work-life balance is not too bad. I am friends with the guys I work with so I do spend a good amount of my free time after work with them but it seems some industries do not allow much in the way of social time or free time.
According to this report, Consulting comes out bottom for Work-Life satisfaction with Software Development coming out top.

In its latest study, Emolument.com asked 1,360 professionals how they feel about their work-life balance: engineering and IT workers are much happier with their work-life balance compared to other respondents. Location, gender, and seniority level also have a major impact on work-life balance.
