Hey guys. It's me. Taylor. As a Londoner myself and someone that commutes 90 minutes to get into work, I did not find the info in the article very shocking to say the least.
I actually enjoy being in the office, getting out of the house and into a different environment (it also gives me the chance to talk to someone other than my imaginary cat).
However, with that said, would I like the flexibility to work from home or my destination of choice every now and then? Of course! It gives balance and means you can do things like step outside for some fresh air, or eat an entire packet of biscuits without being judged.
As long as the quality of work isn't affected, I don't see why there should be an issue with flexible working.
"Almost seven in ten (69%) employees living in London who work flexibly report they are satisfied or very satisfied with their jobs, compared to 52% of employees that don’t work flexible"
